Central Telecom crowned Avaya BusinessPartner of the Year


Central acknowledged by Avaya for unprecedented second year running for their outstanding performance, channel excellence and success in key Public Sector solutions.

Communications specialists Central Telecom, an Avaya Platinum BusinessPartner, has been named Business Partner of the Year by Avaya, global leaders in communication systems, applications and services, for an unprecedented second consecutive year.

The company, whose headquarters is in Burton-on-Trent with regional offices in London and Guildford, was presented with the title of BusinessPartner of the Year 2007 at the Avaya Business Partner Conference, which took place in Paris.

The Business Partner conference provides an opportunity to recognize Avaya Business Partners for their EMEA performance and to acknowledge outstanding partners who have demonstrated channel excellence above expectations by delivering winning networking solutions.The highly contended title of BusinessPartner of the Year is presented to the best performing Avaya Platinum Enterprise BusinessPartner in EMEA.

The award follows hot on the heels of Central's recent success at the 6th annual Channel Network Awards where they received the title of Enterprise Convergence Solution of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. The Channel Network Awards recognise best practice in client solutions and Central received this prestigious award for their design and implementation of an innovative, yet highly robust Avaya IPT solution for Sunderland City Council, providing the biggest roll out of SIP in EMEA and providing cost savings of £500,000.
